At the end of 2017, he was awarded the Bavarian Art Prize. The exhibition of the artist, which took place in the context of the award, was supported by the Thorwart-Jeska Foundation.
So far, his work has been recognized with numerous awards. In 2018, he received the work scholarship of the Free State of Bavaria and was a fellow of the Roger Willemsen Foundation.
